You Are a Priest Forever...
"....Kapag umuulan, bumababa ang langit sa lupa..." These were the opening words of Bishop Soc Villegas during the Ordination Rites of Fr. Ramon Guanzon Mariano. And indeed heaven and earth joined forces to thank the Lord for the gift of priesthood bestowed on Fr. Ramon. Inside the historic church of the Parish of St. Dominic in Abucay, Bataan, with the rains and prayers all making music for the solemn celebration of the Eucharist, the faithful of the Diocese, the clergy, and Bishop Emeritus of Malolos, Bishop Almario, together, they made another mark in the pages of the history of the Church in Bataan, on this very special day, August 4, the feast of St. John Marie Vianney.
Fr. Ramon completed his theological studies at the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Guiguinto, Bulacan.
In an emotion yet grace-filled morning, Fr. Ramon became the youngest member of the clergy of the Diocese of Balanga. He will be assigned as Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral Parish of St. Joseph in Balanga effective August 15. We thank the Lord for this gift of priesthood and together we will pray for Fr. Ramon as he continues to share his life to the people of God he promised to serve. Fr. Ramon, more power and God bless.
