Mt. Samat 2009: Once More, With Feelings...
It was the 6th Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Valor at Mt. Samat and the Diocese's celebration of the First Sunday of Advent. With Archbishop Soc Villegas as the main celebrant for the Eucharistic Celebration, we offered our prayers, our dreams and our gratitude to God for the blessings the past year.
On occasions like this, sometimes words are not enough to capture the stories of a faith-filled people of God. It was a day full of life and hope. With this year's theme celebrating the Year for Priests, Archbishop Soc stressed the role of priests in the Church and in society. The religious event was capped with fireworks that lit the clear skies, like shooting stars giving light in the middle of the night.
